Spontaneous ice-skating in union square!!!  After a delicious hangover cheesteak and the new  Bond movie Derek and I took a lovely stroll through union square.  They have an outdoor ice-rink there now! When I was a kid I used to dream of being an Olympic ice-skater and yet I have never EVER ice-skated. Once I told Derek this he would not let us leave until I tried. So after some convincing and an emergency sock purchase it was ON.  Cruising around to classics By Billy Ocean and Janet Jackson I finally did it! I totally busted out a spin and a triple axel!! OK thats not true but I didn’t fall once :-)
